Retiree Health Plans and Other Benefits Learn about the health coverage options and other benefits available to you as a Hewlett Packard Enterprise retiree.
Through Hewlett Packard Enterprise and insurance exchanges, you have several options for health care coverage and can choose the plan that best fits your needs. The options available to you are based on your and your dependents’ eligibility for Medicare. For details, refer to Your 2016 Hewlett Packard Enterprise Retiree Benefits Enrollment Letter you received.
If you and your covered dependent are both eligible for Medicare, you have access to the Aon Retiree Health Exchange. This resource can help you explore a variety of options and find a plan that meets your needs and budget. The insurance plans offered through the Aon Retiree Health Exchange are individual insurance policies. They are not managed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, nor are they part of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise group program.
When you enroll in a plan through the Aon Retiree Health Exchange, you will need to complete any additional enrollment forms that are required. Medical plan premiums will be paid directly to the medical plan you elect. Depending on the insurance product you elect, you may be able to arrange for your premiums to be paid automatically from your bank account.
If you choose to purchase coverage through the Aon Retiree Health Exchange instead of enrolling in a Hewlett Packard Enterprise retiree medical plan, you will retain the option to switch back to Hewlett Packard Enterprise coverage during future annual enrollments or if you have a qualified status change.
