Our time off and work arrangement practices have been designed to reflect our continued and ongoing commitment to an environment where employees and managers can work together to achieve business success whilst creating increased opportunities for work-life balance.


Our aim is to support all employees through major life changes and as such our Maternity & Adoption policy goes above requirements to support expecting mothers, and primary carers adopting a child, while our Shared Parental Leave enables eligible mothers, fathers, partners and adopters to choose how to share time off work after their child is born or placed with them.


We also cater for employees' families and personal circumstances with the arrangement of working time. Through our Part Time and Flexible Working policies, employees can request to alter the number of hours worked or to apply for job-share opportunities. Such arrangements can be an effective solution to the needs of both the employer and the employee.
In exceptional circumstances an employee may be in a situation where they need to request time off, over and above their normal annual leave entitlement. We offer a variety of Special Leaves to support employees, such as paid & unpaid leave of absence, time off for moving house, marriage/civil partnership ceremonies, sitting for examinations, or in the event of a family bereavement.


In addition to these policies, our employees can always access additional confidential support and coaching when dealing with difficult or challenging personal or professional circumstances though our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which provides expert help and access to trained counsellors and specialist advisors for employees and their family.
