History of Synergy
HPE originally announced Synergy, the first composable product, at Discover London in 2016. The first Synergy unit was shipped in May of 2017.

HPE Synergy Composer combines multiple tools into a single interface for virtually every life cycle operational change. These changes can be quickly implemented by a single administrator.
HPE Synergy Image Streamer implements rapid image/application changes to multiple compute nodes in an automated manner. HPE Synergy Image Streamer works with HPE Synergy Composer to rapidly deploy and update multiple physical compute nodes.
The HPE Synergy D3940 Storage Module can run anything and is composed with compute resources to meet the demands of a wide range of data workloads.
HPE Synergy Fabric is rack-scale, multi-fabric connectivity that eliminates standalone top-of-rack (TOR) switches.
