List of supported NXD features

The following NXD features have been implemented in this software release:

• Write back cache
• Small block random acceleration – 4 KiB to 64 KiB
• Optimized for large block sequential (128 KiB to 1 MiB and above)
• Increase HDD throughput
• Advanced resource (RAM, SSD) management
• Tuning of Cache Bypass Size
• Automatic flushing
• Cache metadata and metadata logging
• Device IO error handling
• Dirty data ‘flush’ logic in cache, with 1 MB aligned writes to GridRAID – increases performance
• Cache substates to dynamically switch between caching and bypass modes of handling IO
• Read persistence (turned ON by default)
• GridRAID and HA support
• Command Line Interface (CLI) – management
• Performance monitor – cache hits, cache performance, etc.
• Performance data in JSON format
