Guest Account Configuration

Configure the guest account settings on the Configure tab

Sonexion System Manager (CSM) supports a guest user account that provides read-only access to the CSM. The guest user is able to view management information and support bundles but is NOT able to make any management changes to the system. The guest account does NOT provide access to the CSI or site initialization functions, files containing clear-text passwords, or the CSM management database. The guest account can be disabled or enabled by the administrator.

  1. Navigate to the Configure tab.
  2. Click Guest Account in the menu at the left side of the screen, under the heading Security.
  3. To enable Web Interface and SSH Shell access, click the check boxes.
  4. Type a Guest password in the field; retype to confirm the password.
  5. Click Apply to create the guest account.
    Once the guest account has been created, the guest can log in and view authorized information.
