Disable secure data-at-rest

IMPORTANT:

When you disable secure data-at-rest, you must encrypt your backups on your own.

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator

  • Ensure that you understand the implications of changing the secure data-at-rest option.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select Settings.
  2. Click Security and then select Secure data-at-rest or select Actions > Secure data-at-rest.
  3. Select the I have read and understood all the implications checkbox.
  4. Set the secure data-at-rest option to Yes, disable.
  5. Verify that the Secure data-at-rest option is set to No in the security settings panel.

    Once Secure data-at-rest is disabled, a warning alert stating that the appliance is in a lower secure mode is displayed.
