Request virtual functions for an Ethernet connection

Prerequisites

Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Server administrator

Procedure
  1. Create a server profile.
  2. From the Create Server Profile dialog, select Add Connection.
  3. From the Add Connection dialog, select Ethernet as the function type, and select the Requested virtual functions option.
  4. Optional: If selecting Custom as the requested virtual function option, select the number of virtual functions.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Verify that your requested virtual functions appear in the details pane of the Connections view.
