Edit a logical switch

IMPORTANT:

  • When physically replacing a switch in the logical switch, remove the existing switch in one operation, and then add a new switch in a second operation. Do not remove a switch and add another switch to the same logical switch, in the same operation.

  • If you do not have an existing CA certificate, then download one; otherwise, the new switch is imported with a self-signed certificate, by default.

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Network administrator

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select NETWORKING > Logical Switches.
  2. Select the logical switch that you want to edit and select Actions > Edit.
  3. Edit the values shown on the screen.
  4. Confirm your changes, and click OK to apply them.
  5. Verify that the changes appear in the details pane.
