Setting the IPMI Watchdog Timer policy

Use the IPMI Watchdog Timer Policy to configure the timeout action upon expiration of the watchdog timer due to a server lockup.
Procedure
  1. From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > System Options > Server Availability > IPMI Watchdog Timer Policy.
  2. Select a setting:

    • Power Cycle

    • Power Down

    • Warm Boot

  3. Save your setting.
