Pre-Upgrade Steps for Object Store with S3-Compatible API

Complete the following steps before you upgrade Object Store with S3-Compatible API.

Stop the Object Store with S3-Compatible API services on all nodes before you upgrade.

Edge Node

To stop the service on an edge node, run:
sudo /opt/mapr/objectstore-client/objectstore-client-<version>/bin/objectstore.sh stop

Server Node

To stop the service on a server node, run:
sudo /opt/mapr/bin/maprcli node services -name objectstore -nodes <node_name> -action stop
