System

A system is made up of all the hardware components (or logical devices), software, and firmware that are managed by a single operating system. Internal hardware components are housed in enclosures and are arranged in groups, modules, and slots. Components that must be replaced by your service provider are known as field-replaceable units (FRUs). FRUs can contain subcomponents that are also field-replaceable.
