Irv Rothman leads HPE Financial Services (HPEFS), the IT asset management and financing subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Across the entire technology estate, HPEFS helps organizations create the investment capacity they need to accelerate their digital transformation and unlock their potential.
The company is headquartered in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, with regional locations in Dublin, Ireland, and Singapore. HPEFS has over 1,600 employees worldwide and does business in more than 50 countries.
Prior to leading HPEFS, Irv Rothman was President and CEO of Compaq Financial Services Corporation, which he led from its founding in 1997, growing the business to greater than $3.7 billion in assets generating over $1.0 billion in revenue prior to the 2002 HP-Compaq merger.
With over 40 years in the financial services industry, Irv Rothman has held leadership positions with U.S. Leasing International and Thomson McKinnon Securities before joining AT&T in 1985. As a group president of AT&T Capital Corporation, he helped build an organization that ultimately grew to be the second largest leasing company in the US.
Irv Rothman is the author of a book entitled “Out-Executing the Competition: Building and Growing a Financial Services Company in Any Economy” (John Wiley & Sons, Inc.) All personal royalties from book sales are being donated to Room to Read, an international charity dedicated to promoting children's literacy across the world.
Irv Rothman serves as a member of the HPE Inclusion & Diversity Council.
In 2019, Irv Rothman joined the Board of Directors of the UCF, the world’s leading nonprofit urological health foundation and official foundation of the American Urological Association.
Irv Rothman attended Rutgers University and earned an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University.
