Executive Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Services
Mike Nefkens is Executive Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Services for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, responsible for helping Fortune 500 enterprises leverage technology to transform so they can compete more effectively in the digital economy. Mike held the same role at HP, prior to the company’s separation into two companies – Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc.
An authority on cyber security, he advises Boards and CEO’s on how to protect their enterprise and has spoken on this topic at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland for the last two years.
A seasoned international executive, Nefkens is recognised for the successful turnaround of multiple global businesses in Europe, Latin America and North America. He spent five years in Europe with HP, and prior to HP, almost ten years in the energy sector in Latin America, where he held a range of executive management positions, including Regional President and General Manager in Mexico, Nicaragua, Venezuela and North America.
Nefkens served as a member of the Riverbed Board of Directors until its sale in early 2015. He holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a degree in finance from Texas Christian University.
