Jim Jackson is the Chief Marketing Officer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Jim believes in the power of marketing to not only build brands and drive sales, but also to transform the trajectory of companies and markets. With more than 25 years in the IT industry, Jim is passionate about the use of technology to inform a customer-centric, data-driven digital marketing approach across all areas of the business. Jim is known for combining great storytelling with precision marketing and strong sales collaboration to drive business results.
As CMO, Jim oversees all aspects of brand, web and ecommerce, digital marketing, messaging, demand generation, sales enablement, thought leadership and strategic events. Jim and his team are focused on developing a culture at HPE that drives innovative ideas to create new growth opportunities for HPE across Hybrid Cloud, Edge, Data and AI and as-a-Service markets.
Prior to his role as CMO, Jim was Global Head of Marketing for HPE’s $26B Enterprise Group. He was part of the leadership team who launched the new Hewlett Packard Enterprise brand and played a key role in the transformation of HPE global marketing to a modern, digital-first model.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts from Muskingum University and a Master of Business Administration from Miami University.
