Enable unprecedented levels of automation and agility with cloud computing solutions.
What is Visual Computing?
Visual computing is the use of visual images to gain insights or make processes easier to create and manage.
Visual Computing definition
Visual computing encompasses two concepts: 1) an environment in which humans programme, monitor, and control computer-driven processes through the manipulation of multimedia visual images and 2) the capture, recognition, modification, and rendering of massively large visual media files. The term is most commonly applied to 2) in the forms of animation, complex systems simulation, and 3D modeling and design.
Why Visual Computing?
Visual computing uses images to let people see, interact, and control data visually. It offers new perspectives and powerful capabilities for industry, research, education, and training including human-computer interaction, quality control, medical imaging, surveying, robotics, multimedia, computer facial modelling and animation, heritage archiving, computer games, virtual reality, special effects in movies, and more.
HPE Visual Computing
HPE offers infrastructure solutions that support the high bandwidth and high-performance computing (HPC) demands of visual computing and help organisations reap its full benefits. Our industry-leading platforms support a full complement of HPC features, including top bin CPUs, fast memory, integrated accelerators or GPUs, and high-speed cluster fabrics and I/O interconnections. These options make it easy to achieve the right balance of price and performance for a high-performance visual computing environment.
