Public sector officials are increasingly keen to engage in digital transformation, and their strategic IT priorities are cyber risk and security, as well as meeting both citizens’ expectations and relevant European and country regulations.

The purpose of this report is to outline the possibilities of enhancing Europe’s public services to better deliver the essential services they are responsible for in the face of today’s challenging and turbulent environment. These possibilities are understood as both technological solutions, often indicated as key enablers of new capabilities, as well as funding and financing opportunities, more and more common due to the acknowledgment of the promises associated with new technologies.
