IST leverages exclusive technology developed through close partnership with Intel. It includes three innovative capabilities-Jitter Smoothing, Workload Matching, and Core Boosting-that together can deliver double digit boosts in performance.1 Available exclusively on Gen10 servers with iLO 5.
Level and balance frequency fluctuation, minimise jitter, and reduce latency problems in Turbo Boost Mode using patent-pending technology. Jitter Smoothing mitigates processor frequency fluctuation and, in some cases, can improve overall workload throughput above Turbo Boost Mode alone.2
Automatically match the internal server resources to the specific requirements of your workload. Workload Matching offers preconfigured workload profiles that tune internal server resources to deliver up to a 9% performance improvement over default settings.2
