Kristin Major is Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

In this role, Kristin has worldwide responsibility for HPE’s Human Resources function, including talent and performance enablement, organizational effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, benefits and compensation, and HR processes and information management, with a focus on culture and advancing the experience and success of HPE’s global workforce.

Kristin has been with the organization since 2011, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Talent Officer. Over the course of her career with HPE, Kristin has led HR for HPE GreenLake, HPE Aruba Networking, the HPE transformation Office, and HPE’s Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining the HR function, Kristin was the Chief Employment Counsel for the company for eight years as part of the Office of Legal and Administrative Affairs.

Prior to joining HPE, Kristin was a labor and employment counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Palo Alto, California. Kristin is passionate about public service and has served on the Board of a number of non-profit organizations and was the Executive Sponsor of the HPE Women’s Global Network until 2023.

Kristin holds a law degree from Georgetown University, was a visiting third-year law student at Stanford University and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona.

Based in Houston, Kristin is a mother and stepmother of five and enjoys spending time with her dog, Beau, and traveling with her husband, Rory, and their kids.
