Do you need a high performance computing (HPC) platform for extreme parallel computational workloads? Extreme Parallel Compute Capabilities
The HPE ProLiant XL2x260w Server tray consists of two server nodes utilizing Intel Xeon Phi processor, Ethernet and six DDR4 DIMM slots. With direct liquid cooling, the processor is able to maintain the best performance required for extreme HPC workloads.
Enables faster workload completion on more cores at a given CPU frequency for greater application efficiency than previous offerings with direct liquid cooling.
Each server node uses one Intel Xeon Phi processor ranging in number of cores and frequency within the processor.
The integrated network fabric with the server node offering a choice of Intel OPA or Mellanox® EDR, providing low-latency 100 Gbps bandwidth for demanding HPC application workloads. Additionally, Intel Omni-Path Architecture can also be ordered and integrated ('-F' processor selection).
Up to 48 HPE ProLiant XL2x260w servers can be supported with the modular, fully integrated, and highly flexible HPE Apollo w6000 Chassis.
High-speed Ethernet switches offer 100 Gbps node-to-node connectivity for faster cluster performance.
