Is your data center lacking sufficient outlet receptacles or flexibility in rack space? Is cable management a problem? HP Modular PDUs have a unique architecture designed specifically for data center customers who want to maximize power distribution and space efficiencies in the rack. Available in a small form factor with flexible mounting options, installation is quick and easy with all brackets, accessories and installation guides included. Modular PDUs consist of two building blocks the Core Unit (core) and the Extension Bar(s) (sticks). The Core Unit is 1U/0U, and the Extension Bars mount directly to the frame of the rack in multiple locations. Single phase models are available up to 40 amps and can have up to 28 outlets divided across 4 extension bars. Three phase models are core only units with 6 x C19 outlets that can be connected to optional extension bars or directly to components such as BladeSystems enclosures.
- Increased amperage on the new 3 phase core only units can power multiple BladeSystems.
- The new unit uses a standard 3 phase input plug and has 6 x IEC C19 outlets.

Our Basic PDUs get Power where you Need it to Go – and Keep it There
HPE Basic Power Distribution Units Horizontal/Modular PDU Models can be installed in any U position in your rack.
Integrated cord retention to connect the right cord to the right outlet, quickly and easily.
Vertical PDU Models use Button and Keyhole Mounting for Simple Drop in Install
HPE Basic Power Distribution Units vertical form factor models have a wide range of single and three-phase options providing up to 22kVA of output power.
Mounts vertically on either side in the rear of the rack using industry standard button and keyhole mounting. Standard mounting faces the outlet towards the rear of the rack preventing interference in the maintenance zone between rear RETMA rails.
Using the optional configuration of facing the outlets into the rack, multiple PDUs can be mounted on one side of the rack for higher power density.
Getting Power Where it Needs to go has Never Been Easier, from Purchase to Prime Time
HPE Basic Power Distribution Units have a wide range of mounting options to fit every application. Power where you need it, plus more room for compute.
Highest-density PDUs on market means more power and less headache for even the most demanding compute applications.
Tool-less installation, low profile and modular extensions simplify configuration and reduce time to deployment.
HPE Foundation Care means your power isn’t the only thing that’s protected – the warranty from your HPE servers extends to your PDUs.
