LEXINGTON – Golda Nance Cook, 77, died Feb. 27, 2010.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Higher Ground Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

WELCOME – Barbara Moon McGehee, 60, of Craver Road died Feb. 26, 2010, at her residence.

GREENSBORO – Mrs. June Marjorie Meyer Buck, 85, died Feb. 28, 2010, at Adams Farm Health Care Center.

HIGH POINT – Coy Roland Kiziah died Feb. 28, 2010, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Adam Fisher

TRINITY – Adam David Fisher, 24, died Feb. 25, 2010, at High Point Regional. A memorial visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Thomasville Funeral Home.

Edna Gardner Cranford

HIGH POINT – Mrs. Edna Pauline Gardner Cranford, age 84, formerly of Johnson Street died February 27, 2010 in the Blumenthal Jewish Nursing Home in Greensboro.

Mrs. Cranford was born in Kinston, NC on February 24, 1926 to John Paul and Nannie Hazel Hazzard Gardner. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak View United Methodist Church and the Olive Overby Sunday School Class. On April 20, 1946 she married Richard E. Cranford Sr. who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Margie Clanton.

Surviving are her daughters; Lori C. Banther of High Point and Lisa C. Clodfelter and husband Bill of Summerfield and her son, Richard E. Cranford, Jr. and wife Martha of High Point. Mrs. Cranford has one sister, Mrs. Connie Cox of Trinity and six brothers; Robert, Donald, and Johnny Gardner all of High Point and Jimmy Gardner of Trinity, Roy Gardner of Hornerytown, and Mike Gardner of Charlotte. There are six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Cranford will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery by the Reverend J.C. Alley. There will be no public visitation.
