Paul Duncan

ARCHDALE – Mr. Paul Maynard Duncan, 87, of Turnpike Rd. died Friday, September 25th, 2009 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Mr. Duncan was born August 13th, 1922 in Stokes County, a son to Landon and Cora Young Duncan. He was a veteran having served in the US Air Force and was a member of the Trinity Memorial United Methodist Church. Prior to his retirement in 2006, he was employed for 60 years by The Hall Printing Company.

Surviving are his wife, Edith, of the home; daughter, Kay and Lyndon Wall of High Point; one grandchild, Kimberly Brown and her husband J.R. Brown of Trinity; one great grandchild, Cameron; a sister, Myrthene Koontz of Archdale; a brother, Thurman Duncan of Sophia; and three special nieces. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. David Talbert officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home of his daughter, 4236 Rockbridge Rd. High Point NC.

OLIN – Mrs. Ruth Caldwell Moore, 85, of 139 Sanfords Drive, died Sept. 24, 2009.
