HIGH POINT — Luke Hess worked four perfect innings and Josh Wilson allowed one walk in a hitless fifth as High Point Central no-hit visiting T.W. Andrews 13-0 in five innings on Wednesday.
Will Johnson went 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs scored for the Bison (2-0). Tyler Wilson was 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs, while Trevor Gay finished 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI and Colin Folwer was 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI.
Central plays host to East Forsyth today at 6 p.m.
SW GUILFORD 6, RAGSDALE 0
HIGH POINT — Southwest Guilford served up a 6-0 Piedmont Triad 4A Conference win over Ragsdale on a windy, chilly Wednesday.
In singles, Austin Lynk def. Matt Ritter 6-2, 7-6 (6); Danny Gillespie def. Alec Cobb 6-1, 6-2; Jacob Arett def. Henry McGugan 6-1, 6-1; Sai Hari def. Teig Dryden 6-1, 6-1; Alex Gavric def. Walker Crump 6-4, 7-5; and Chris Seo def. Randall Nguyen 6-1, 6-4. The doubles matches were not played.
The Cowboys improved to 2-2, 1-1. The Tigers fell to 0-1 overall and in league play.
NW GUILFORD 5, HP CENTRAL 4
GREENSBORO — Northwest Guilford edged High Point Central 5-4 on Wednesday.
Matt Tutton, Carter Gay and Robert Tutton won in singles for the Bison (2-1, 1-1). Matt Amos-R. Tutton prevailed in doubles.
Central visits T.W. Andrews today at 4:30.
NORTH FORSYTH 8, T.W. ANDREWS 1
HIGH POINT — North Forsyth downed T.W. Andrews 8-1 on Wednesday.
Antonio Tuth-Adish Thapa won in doubles for the Red Raiders (0-4), who play host to HP Central today at 4:30.
AT HOLLY RIDGE
ARCHDALE — High Point Central’s Matthew Krawczyk earned medalist honors with a solid 4-over 40 at frigid, windy Holly Ridge on Wednesday.
The Bison (4-0) won the four-team meet at 165, followed by Randleman at 180, Southern Guilford at 194 and Wheatmore at 204.
Also for the Bison, Harrison Frye shot 41 and Justin Franklin and Ryan Eskew carded 42s.
For Southern, Daniel Greene, Heath Spencer and Austin Metherly shot 46s.
Calvin Miller led Wheatmore with a 43, while teammate Jacob McNeil carded 51.
Central plays Wesleyan Christian Academy today at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Hollow.

TRINITY — East Davidson and Trinity battled to a scoreless draw on Wednesday.
Taylor Bell made 10 saves in goal for the Golden Eagles (0-1-1).
HP CENTRAL BOYS 5, EASTERN GUILFORD 2
HIGH POINT — Judd Heater scored two goals and Jacob Freeman made eight saves in goal as High Point Central topped Eastern Guilford 5-2 in boys lacrosse on Wednesday.
Stephen Smith, Parker Ford and Ryan Green added one goal apiece for the Bison (1-1), who play at Southwest Guilford on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
