Area prep hoops action heats up

While the weather may be unseasonably warm, tonight’s prep basketball action figures to be hot.
Eleven area schools take the hardwood this evening for some great high school hoops matchups.
In the Piedmont Triad 4A Conference, High Point Central battles Glenn in a doubleheader at Southwest Guilford High School. Southwest visits East Forsyth, while Ragsdale enjoys an open date.
The PAC-6 2A slate includes T.W. Andrews at Atkins, Trinity at Randleman and Carver at Wheatmore.
In the Central Carolina 2A Conference, East Davidson heads to Thomasville to renew their spirited county rivalry.
Southern Guilford, meanwhile, plays host to Ledford for a key Mid-Piedmont 3A Conference twin bill.
In Northwest 1A/2A action, Bishop McGuinness travels to Mount Airy for a big league showdown.
The PACIS schedule offers Forsyth Country Day School at High Point Christian Academy.
Over in the TAC, Westchester Country Day School entertains Trinity of Durham.
Wesleyan Christian Academy’s boys step out of conference for a Brandon Jennings Invitational contest in Wisconsin against Lone Peak High School of Highland, Utah. That game will tip at 8:30 p.m. EST at Brookfield Central High School located just outside of Milwaukee.
