High Point Central remains the unanimous choice for No. 1 in this week’s High Point Enterprise High Five prep football poll.

The Bison, who improved to 4-0 with Friday’s 42-27 victory over Greensboro Grimsley at Simeon Stadium, earned all three first-place votes and 15 points to stay where they’ve been all season — atop the High Five.
T.W. Andrews (2-1) kept a firm grip on second place in the survey, receiving all three second-place votes for 12 points. The Red Raiders had an open date on Friday.
Positions 3-5 feature the same schools as last week, but the ratings for each change.
Ledford climbed from fifth to third following Friday’s hard-fought 13-10 victory at previously unbeaten East Davidson. The Panthers (3-1) collected all three third-place votes for nine points.
The Golden Eagles (3-1) slipped from third to fourth with six points.
Trinity, which fell from the ranks of the unbeaten with Friday’s 31-22 setback at Union Pines, dropped from fourth to fifth with two points. The Bulldogs stand 3-1 on the season.
Southwest Guilford earned one point in the ratings. The Cowboys improved to 2-2 with Friday’s 49-42 triumph over Western Guilford.
Four of the five ranked teams are in action on Friday.
Central plays host to West Forsyth, while Andrews travels to Bartlett Yancey, East visits Wheatmore and Trinity entertains West Davidson.
Ledford enjoys an open date.
Also Friday, it’s Southern Alamance at Southwest Guilford; High Point Christian Academy at First Assembly; Glenn at North Davidson; Southeast Guilford at Ragsdale; Bishop McGuinness at South Stokes; Smith at Southern Guilford and Thomasville at Davie County.
