Your View: Guest Column - Obamacare, debt, disregarding God will do us in

BY REV. VINCENT L. ASHLEY

I would like to thank President Obama, Vice-President Biden, all members of both the House and Senate (both parties), the ACLU and the nine inept justices of the U.S. Supreme Court for continually stripping me of my rights as a Christian and a U.S. citizen by their continual disregard of God, of whom our forefathers founded the U.S. Constitution on.
I would also like to thank all of Congress for insuring that my grandkids, and their kids are inundated with trillions and trillions of dollars of national debt, because Congress has yet to figure out that you can’t spend out more than this country takes in. When Congress forgets who sent them to Washington to represent them, it’s time for a change and not the one we received in 2008 either.
I also would like to thank the proponents of Obamacare, it is because of Ms. Pelosi, Mr. Reed and all the members of Congress who voted this piece of crap legislation in, without taking the time to read it, that I no longer have a job that I have worked at for the last 13 years. The only fault I have in all this is getting older. I turn 57 in September of this year. My question is: Who is going to hire a person of my age? People my age and older are getting thrown under the bus. So folks, Obamacare is not for everyone, I’m living proof of that.
By the way, the president, vice president, and members of Congress are exempt from subscribing to Obamacare. I would get insurance if it wasn’t so expensive. If you haven’t realized my sarcasm by now, then you’ve been blinded by this administration and all their lies, not counting, one scandal right after another! Wake up, America! Wake up, Children of God! We’re being bamboozled!
In II Chronicles 7:14 it says: “If my people, that are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
