Your View: Stop sending money to Middle East countries

Mar. 26, 2013 @ 09:53 PM

Will someone please tell this Georgia dirt farmer why are we sending money, millions of dollars, to Egypt and the other Middle East countries when all they want to do is kill Americans and all the Jews?
I thought we as a country was out of money. How did we get in such a bad state when the Democrats have the majority? All they want to do is blame Republicans or anyone who listens to them.
I am not sure if we have a natural-born American as our president. I hear that he was born in the Middle East and flown to Hawaii when he was 5-days-old. If you know, tell me.
I think we need a wholesale exodus of all politicians from the Capitol, both parties, and start over with a new set that cares about we citizens who still pay taxes.
My ideas:
• Have two-term limits for every one.
• Limit pay to jobs performed.
• Cut out buying votes with the stuff that is given for the votes.
This great country is headed toward a style that citizens of this country are not favoring. May God bless this only truly free country that is still in existence.

Protect children at school bus stops
It seems that there has been a large number of children being hurt or dying from a car hitting them at school bus stops in this county and in the entire state this year.  One is too many and something needs to be done to stop this from happening.
It seems to me that the school buses should have some type of flood-light shinning so the children who have to cross the street can really be seen.  Our schools are starting earlier every year and it is hard to see the children.
I know that it is the responsibility of the driver to make sure the stop sign is out and the lights are flashing.  We are all guilty of looking down, grabbing the coffee, changing the radio station, or using the cell phone and not seeing soon enough what is going on in front of us.  We cannot afford to lose one more child due to a driver not seeing the school bus stopped.  How hard could it be to correct this situation and save our children’s precious lives?  I hope the Guilford County Schools as well as Thomas Built Buses can find a way to make this happen.
