WINSTON-SALEM — Martha Tuttle Graham, 74, 1938 Midway School Rd, passed away March 5, 2013. Martha was born on September 4, 1938 in Davidson County to late John Wesley Tuttle Sr. and Clay Carl Tuttle.
Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Brooks Temple UMC, 136 Ralph Craver Rd., Lexington. Family visitation will be 2-2:30 pm and other times at 219 Thomas School Rd., Winston-Salem. Burial will follow on Monday at National Cemetery, Salisbury. KERNERSVILLE — Mr. David Allen Hill, 42, a resident of 2414 Londonderry Road, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Davidson County on March 23, 1970, the son of Ishmael Hill and Deborah Baker Slaydon. He was a member of Mills Home Baptist Church and had served in the U. S. Navy in the Desert Storm War, serving on the USS Saipan. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents and great-grandparents.
Surviving are his fiancé, Jennifer Salyers, of the home; one son, Matthew Jarrett of Trinity; his mother, Deborah Slaydon and husband Rick of High Point; brother, Scotty Hill and wife Luci of Thomasville; and special canine friends, Sugar, Precious, Lil’ bit and Lucky.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Cross Baptist Church, 4350 High Point Road, Kernersville, with Rev. Mark Ashworth and Rev. Billy Parham officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to S. P. C. A. HIGH POINT- Dorien Daymon Jackson, 18, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital.
Services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Thomasville, North Carolina. Visitation will begin half an hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, High Point, N.C. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his parents, Henry and Betty Jackson of the home; two sisters, Regina (Brent) Edwards, Cacy (Gary) Manalili; three brothers, Henry Edward (Jacquetta) Jackson; Nicholas (Yrisha) Jackson of Raleigh, NC and Shauonquez Jackson; five nieces, two nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Rachel Elizabeth White Pope, 73, a resident of Kingston Place, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her residence. She was born on April 23, 1939 in Rockingham County, NC to Ralph White and Elizabeth Faulkner White. She was a homemaker and a member of Park Place Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy White and her sister, Barbara Teer.
Surviving are her children, Bobby Pope and wife Linda of McKinney, TX,
Tennie Vestal and husband Allen of Thomasville, Shawn Pope of Greensboro, and Richie Pope and Nikki of Archdale; five grandchildren, Justin and Jeremy Vestal, Jessica, Nikki, and Robyn Pope; dear friend, Brenda; and canine grand-dogs, Kody, Macy, Molly, and Maggie.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
