Aaron Bean
THOMASVILLE — Mr. Aaron Scott Bean, 19, a resident of Lake Road, died Monday, April 7, 2014. He was born on April 29, 1994, in Davidson County,  to Jeffrey Scott Bean and Toni Jill Trotter. He was a 2012 graduate of East Davidson High School and loved guitars, golf and his Honda Civic.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, Jeff Bean and Jill Trotter and her fiancé, Ronnie Laine, are a sister, Courtney Bean, maternal grandparents, Donnie and Darlene Trotter, paternal grandparents, Terry and Betty Bean, his girlfriend, Leah Barringer, all of Thomasville, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Michael Bowers officiating. Mr. Bean will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until the hour of the graveside service. LEXINGTON — Annie Lee Hunt Hill, 87, of Bethesda Road, Lexington died Tuesday April 8, 2014 at her home. A funeral will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.

Howard Jarrell Jr.
ARCHDALE — Howard Lester Jarrell Jr., age 57, a resident of Archdale, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2014. He was born in Guilford County on December 9, 1956, to Howard Lester Jarrell and Fredericka Causey Jarrell and had been a resident of the Archdale area all of his life. Howard operated Jarrell’s Motor Company and later worked for Hurley Board as a mechanic, as long as his health permitted. He enjoyed restoring cars, fishing, especially at the coast, riding his four wheeler and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, his step-son, Ian Gunter, and by a sister, Barbara Lockhart.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Tamara Board Jarrell, of the home, his daughters, Heather and Shawn Jarrell, both of Archdale, his step- daughter, Ashley Charles and her husband, Craig, of Trinity, and his mother,  Fredericka Causey Jarrell, of Archdale. Also surviving are his sisters, Fonda Evans and her husband, Reid, and Cynthia Parrish and her husband, Ott, all of Archdale, Linda Byrd and her husband, Stan, of Sophia, his granddaughter, Ashton Jarrell, and his step grandchildren, Justin Killingsworth, Hailey and Cole Charles.
A service to celebrate Howard’s life will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Rodney Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Joseph “Joe” Kuykendall
HIGH POINT — Joseph “Joe” Lee Kuykendall, 82, passed away on Monday April 7, 2014, at Hospice Home at High Point. Born on May 28, 1931, in Morristown, Tennessee, to Reverend Charles S. Kuykendall and Flora Duncan Kuykendall. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, and retired from Woodmark Originals after 29 years of Service. He also enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and tending to his flowers.
Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Georgia Hayes Kuykendall, of the home, son, Michael C. Kuykendall and his wife, Jean, of Cartersville, Ga., sister, Esther Nations of High Point, brother, Enoch Kuykendall of Sevierville, Tenn., grandchildren, Joseph and Shina Kuykendall of Cartersville, Ga., Reba Green of Clayton, N.C., Dewey Ball of North Palm Beach, Fla., great-grandchildren, Kaile, James and Matthew Stanley of Clayton, friends, Danny and Evelyn Smith of Archdale, also many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of the many friends who have helped so much.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 10, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service on Eastchester Drive in High Point. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2014, at Cumby Family Funeral Service Chapel in High Point, with Reverend John Wheeless officiating, followed by interment in Floral Gardens Memorial Park in High Point. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Drive High Point, N.C. 27262. Arrangements were made through Cumby Family Funeral Service Eastchester Drive in High Point.
