LEXINGTON — Charles Michael Baker, 52, of West U.S. 64, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Freedom Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at their home.
Lee C. Bame Jr.
HIGH POINT — Lee C. Bame Jr., 85, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Randolph County to the late Lee Columbus Bame Sr., and Beatrice Barnhart Bame Harrelson.
Lee retired from Kayser-Roth Corporation after 35½ years of service. He was Scout master for Troop 169 at Sandy Ridge United Methodist Church for many years. Lee loved farming and raising cattle.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Beatrice and Ralph Harrelson; father and step-mother, Lee C. Bame Sr. and Marie Bame; two sisters, Elizabeth Bame Shields and Shirley Barnhill.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Gray Bame of the home; daughter, Carol Bame James and husband, Mike of Kernersville; son, Mark Bame of Winston Salem; granddaughter, April McQueen and husband, Michael of Winston Salem; two sisters, Ann Hutchens of Colfax, Donna Caulder of Randleman; four brothers, Curtis Bame and Fred Bame both of Colfax, Harold Bame of Mebane, and RT Harrelson of Thomasville; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Phil Kirkman officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.

LEXINGTON — Peggy Rhodes Briggs, 82, of Lohr Street, Lexington, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bethany United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.
WINSTON-SALEM — Gregoria Nino Cabrera, 76, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.

Elizabeth Louise “Weezy” Boles Hedrick
HIGH POINT – Mrs. Elizabeth Louise “Weezy” Boles Hedrick, age 75, a lifelong resident of High Point, died Thursday, July 25 at High Point Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.
Louise was born June 23, 1938, in High Point, a daughter of the late Clarence Grady and Anna Briggs Boles. She was educated in High Point City Schools and was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. For many years, she and her husband worked as a truck driving team, until forced to retire in 1992, due to her husband’s health. She enjoyed all types of music, however; her greatest love was her family and grandchildren. On Dec. 22, 1956, she married Lawrence Reed “Jack” Hedrick, who died on April 19th, 1994.
Surviving are her sons, Randall Martin Hedrick and his wife Karen Lothridge of High Point and Lawrence R. “Larry” Hedrick and his wife Tricia of Wallburg; one brother, Jimmy Boles and his wife Sylvia of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Josh Lothridge and his wife Tamara, Alex Hedrick, Madison Farson and a great-granddaughter, Delilah Lothridge.
A funeral service, to celebrate Louise’s life, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with pastor Keith Parker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank High Point Regional Hospital and its staff and the entire staff at Westchester Manor for the loving care given to our mother.

Terry Lee Moore Sr.
THOMASVILLE — Terry Lee Moore Sr., 56, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 26, 2013, at his residence with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Perry) Moore to whom he was married to for 34 wonderful years.
Mr. Moore was born on Nov. 4, 1956, in Davidson County, a son of Arlene (Proctor) Moore of Thomasville and the late Lee Moore. He was a 1975 graduate of Ledford High School and was the owner and operator of T.L. Moore Inc. for over 35 years.
Terry was a faithful member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, where he was a choir member, was on the church building committee and was a former Sunday school teacher and was always witnessing for the Lord.
In his spare time, he enjoyed taking family trips to Myrtle Beach and spending quality time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Moore is survived by a son, Terry Lee Moore II and his wife, Kimberly of Thomasville; a daughter, Amanda (Moore) Cottingham and husband, Marcus of Thomasville; four grandsons, Mason Moore, Tyler Moore, Zane Cottingham and Jackson Moore; a brother, Tim Moore and his wife, Ginger of Trinity; a sister, Cathy Cecil of Thomasville; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two very special young people, Josh Lovern and McKayla Thompson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at Woodlawn Baptist Church with pastor Jeremy Pierce and pastor John Wheeles officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 206 Trindale Road, Archdale.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. George Sanders, Dr. Grace Kim and all their staff, as well as the caring staff from Hospice of The Piedmont who took great care of Terry and his family during very difficult times.
