William Darrell Albertson
ASHEBORO — Mr. William Darrell Albertson, 86, of Asheboro and formerly of Archdale, NC, died Friday, July 12, 2013. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church. GREENSBORO — Rivers Aye, Jr., 89, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Cremation services entrusted to Triad Cremation Society & Chapel.

George W. Bryson
GREENSBORO — George W. Bryson, Jr. a resident of Greensboro died Tuesday July 16, 2013, at home.  A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Guilford Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Karen C. Gobel.
George was born July 25, 1920.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He was a master horseman and was the former owner of Sedgefield Stables.
His surviving family are his daughter, Ivah Adele Dixon and grandson, Richard Bass and his wife Teresa Bass; great- grandchildren, Keyonna, Hailey and Ricky; his brother, Charles Bryson and his two sons, David and Stephen; two sister-in-laws, Nell Bryson and her children, J’Nell and Rusty and Lake Bryson and her daughter, Malissa.
Mr. Bryson will remain at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel for friends to sign his guest register.

Michael Clarence Moore
KERNERSVILLE — Mr. Michael Clarence Moore, 59, of Abbotts Creek Church Road, passed away Wednesday morning, July 17, 2013, at the Hospice Home at High Point. He was born on April 30, 1954, to Dwight Hammer and Pansy Bodenheimer Moore and had made this area his home for his entire life.  He was retired from UNC at Greensboro with 30 years of service. After retirement, he founded the Mike Moore Landscaping Company. He was a member of Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church. His interests were many but he most enjoyed going to the ocean, kayaking and fishing. He loved getting together with his family and friends.
Surviving are his mother, Pansy B. Moore of Kernersville, his sister, Myra M. Aderholdt and husband John of Oak Ridge, and two beloved nephews, John Nathan Aderholdt and David Aderholdt, and special friend, Cathi Payne of Greensboro.
Funeral services will be on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Hollar and Dr. Joe D. Coltrane officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home on Highway 109 in Wallburg. Mr. Moore will remain at the funeral home until being placed in the church 30 minutes before the services. The family suggests that memorials be made to either Hospice Home at High Point, 1803 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262, or to Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2817 Abbotts Creek Church Road, High Point, NC 27265, in Mr. Moore’s name. Jimmy Dale Page
THOMASVILLE — Jimmy Dale Page, 53, of Thomasville went to be with the Lord early Wednesday. He was preceded in death by his mother Nelda McNeil and father Jerry Page. Surviving are his wife Bonita Page; daughters Mandy Matney, Natasha Pittman and husband Daniel, Jessica Litteral and husband Chris; six grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Walker and Crystal Yelton, and nieces and nephews. The family will gather at the residence of Daniel and Natasha Pittman Thursday, July 18, from 6-8 p.m.

Eugene Courtney Saunders
HIGH POINT — Eugene Courtney Saunders, 71, died on July 15, 2013, at WFUBMC after a brief illness. Gene was born January 22, 1942, in Lynchburg, Va. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Va. In 1965 he married Harriette Dorr of Danville, Va. Gene served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of First Lieutenant before his discharge in 1969. Following his military service, Gene pursued a career in Accounting. He was employed by Price-Waterhouse, Thomasville Furniture Industries, Stoneville Furniture, later becoming the controller at Thomas Built Busses, before starting his own accounting practice in Thomasville.
Gene is predeceased by his father, Wilmore T. Saunders and a sister, Shirley Saunders Beasley. He is survived by his wife, Harriette Dorr Saunders of High Point, a daughter Courtney Saunders Osborne, and son-in-law Ryan E. Osborne of Hickory. Survivors also include his mother, Hilda Duff Saunders of Richmond, Va.; two brothers Thomas W. Saunders of Danville, Va. and Steve E. Saunders of Richmond, Va.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sechrest Funeral Home, 1301 E. Lexington Avenue in High Point with the Reverend John Carroll officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. J.E. “Ronnie” Stilwell
THOMASVILLE — Mr. J.E. “Ronnie” Stilwell, 74, a resident of Stilwell Drive, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the Henry Etta & Bruce Hinkle Hospice House. He was born on September 8, 1938, in Davidson County to the late Jones Edgar Stilwell and the late Bessie Gordon Stilwell. He worked at Gray Concrete before opening and operating Stilwell 76 station for 32 years. After retirement, he worked at Mendenhall Auto Auction. He was a US Army National Guardsman for 13 years, a member of First Baptist Church and a volunteer fireman for more than 20 years with Fair Grove Fire Department.
On July 15, 1960, he married Shirley Pierce, who survives of the home; also surviving are his son, Christopher Stilwell and wife Aundi of Thomasville; daughter, Christina “Tina” Hutcherson and husband Danny of Lexington; best friend and granny-granny, Ina Pierce of Thomasville; sisters, Betty S. Hannah and husband Ed, Shirley S. Fuller and husband Arnold, and Linda S. Harris and husband Olen, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Troy, Carly, Johnathan, Nathan, Savannah, Christopher, and Lauren; and two dog companions, Toby and Daisy.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Michael Hall officiating. Mr. Stilwell will remain at J.C.
