DENTON – Mr. Tony Clyde Bean, 67, of 222 George Tysinger Road, died Nov. 20, 2012. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Faith Baptist Church in Denton. Visitation will be at J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and other times at the home.

Gladys Burleson
HIGH POINT – Ms. Gladys Faye Burleson, 54, a resident of West Hartley Drive, died Tuesday evening, November 20, 1012 at her residence.  She was born April 6, 1958 in Davidson County, a daughter of Robert Lee Burleson, Sr. and Doris Hipp Burleson.  She was attended Church of Tomorrow in Thomasville.
Surviving are her mother, Doris H. Williamson of the home; a sister, Jackie Williamson Wilson and husband Mark of High Point; a brother, Robert Lee (Bobby) Burleson, Jr. and wife Deborah of Kernersville; nieces, Danielle Wilson and Nicole Wilson and two nephews John Freeman and Jack Freeman.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 2 P.M. in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Huey Turner officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1 until 2 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be directed to Church of Tomorrow, 912 Oaklawn Avenue, Thomasville, N.C. 27360.

Cliff Fishel
TRINITY – Clifton Eugene “Cliff” Fishel, 68, a resident of Trinity, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012. A service to celebrate Cliff’s life will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 11:00 AM from the Archdale Assembly of God with Pastor Billy Myers officiating. GIBSONVILLE – Mr. Charles Ray Hill, 83, a resident of Gibsonville died Saturday November 17, 2012 at   Alamance Health Care Center.  Mr. Hill was born November 18, 1928 in High Point the son of Worth Gilbert and Myrtle Bean Hill.  He worked for Burlington Industries and later was a driver for United Dairy before retiring.  He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Marines Corps and was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Collins Hill of the home; one daughter, Julia H. Key and husband Jim of Dallas, NC; one son, Robert Hill and wife Sandra of Prattville, AL; one sister, Dot Powers and husband Herman of High Point; one brother, Gilbert Hill and wife Betty of Albuqerque, NM; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel in Greensboro conducted by Reverend Caroll Flack.  Interment with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will be in Guilford Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Lillie T. Linthicum (HAS PHOTO)
SOPHIA – Lillie Tucker Linthicum, age 87, of Sophia died Monday, November 19, 2012 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.
Mrs. Linthicum was a native of Randolph County and a member of Randleman Friends Meeting. Lillie helped at Snyder Farms with meals for senior adults and various political events. She was active at the Randleman Senior Center and her family was precious to her. Lillie is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Lee Linthicum.
She is survived by her daughters: Sherron Linthicum and her fiancée Peter Nowack of High Point, and Phyllis Sechrest and her husband David of Archdale; sons: Bill Linthicum of Sophia, and Lee Linthicum and his wife Ellen of Sophia; sister: Christine Brantley of Asheboro;
grandchildren, Vonn Tucker and his wife Amy, Tabby Parker, and Regina Sechrest Winebarger and her husband Jimmy; great grandchildren, Melissa Parker, Joshua Tucker, Brayden Bowman, and Brooklyn Bowman.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Billy Britt officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
