THOMASVILLE — Mr. Ronald Wayne Westmoreland, 59, a resident of Pontiac Drive, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, in High Point Regional Hospital.

LEXINGTON — John William Greer, age 67, of Lexington died Saturday afternoon at High Point Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Becks Reformed Church. Arrangements by Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
Glenda Lou Rumple Turner
THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Glenda Lou Rumple Turner, 79, of Colonial Club Dr. went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at her home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Davidson County a daughter of the late William Presley Rumple and Emma Lou Berrier Rumple. Glenda was an extreme Mama, Nana and soon to be a Great-Nana. Glenda was full of laughter and so much fun to be around and there was no better Mama. She was always the neighborhood Mama for years and her guidance was appreciated by many. She was married June 27, 1953, to David Turner. He preceded her in death, July 26, 2013, after 60 years of marriage.
Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Turner Greer and husband David of Lenoir and Cindy Turner McLain and husband Bill of Thomasville; a son, David Turner, Jr. and wife Angie of Thomasville. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jason Watson and friend, Debra of Lincolnton, Megan McLain Croke and husband Ben of Winston-Salem, Chelsea Turner and Trent Turner both of Thomasville. One brother, Tony Rumple of Greenville and one sister, Sis Burgess and husband Ted of Greensboro and a sister-in-law, Lib Roser Cloniger of Thomasville.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 21, 2014, at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Dr. Ivan H. M. Peden and Rev. Peggy Finch officiating. The family will receive friends at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home 122 W. Main St. Thomasville prior to the service Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. and other times at the Turner family home.

LEXINGTON — Doris Myers, age 84, of Homewood Lane Lexington died Friday at her home. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
Nakisha “Kisha” Cobb
HIGH POINT — On Jan. 15, 2014, God called another angel home after a two-year battle with cancer. Nakisha “Kisha” Cobb, age 31 of High Point, was born on March 17, 1982, to John W. Zimmerman Jr. and Mary B. Cobb.
Kisha was a graduate of High Point Central High School, class of 2000 and later graduated from Carolina Beauty College. She was a former employee of High Point Regional Hospital for many years. Kisha was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend to all that knew her. She will truly be missed!
She was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Cobb, grandparents, Mr. Joe and Mrs. Sadie Cobb.
She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, John W. Zimmerman Jr. and Mary B. Cobb; one son, Jae’shon Cody; two brothers, John W. Cobb III and Jamye S. Stanback; grandparents, Mr. John Wesley Sr. and Mrs. Nancy Zimmerman.
A celebration of Nakisha’s life will be held on 1:30, Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at First Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Diane Barrino-Barber officiating. Family visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Special thanks to High Point Regional Hospital Cancer Center and the ICU staff. The family will also receive friends at 408 Manor Drive.
