Elsie Gertrude Coltrane
HIGH POINT — Elsie Gertrude Coltrane, 82, passed away on Friday April 11, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
Born on Sept. 12, 1931, in Randolph County to Claude McIver Yates and Lillie Lewis Yates. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Elsie was a longtime member of Landmark Baptist Church, she loved her church family. Dearly loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them.
Survived by 2 children, her loving sister whom she lived with for most of her life Phyllis Parnell of Thomasville, 4 other sisters, 4 brothers, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Pm on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at Cumby Family Funeral Service on Trindale Road in Archdale. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Landmark Baptist Church with Reverend Amos Mashburn officiating followed by interment in the Church Cemetery.

Brandon Hege
LEXINGTON — Brandon Michael Hege, 25, died April 12, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Good Hope United Methodist Church.

Martha Luther
DENTON — Martha Sue Hunt Luther, 77, of N.C. 109 South, Denton, died April 12, 2014, at her residence. 
The funeral Service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

Pastor Robert McKeehan
HIGH POINT — Pastor Robert McKeehan, 42, resident of High Point, went to be with the Lord on April 11th, 2014.
Robert was born March 14th, 1972 in El Paso, TX, a son to Estil and Celia Gallegos McKeehan.  He came to know Christ through Campus Crusade at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where his passion for God’s Word and sharing the Gospel grew.  While there, he majored in Religious Studies and minored in Spanish. 
Later he graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a master of Theology.  He served as youth pastor at Riverview Fellowship in Albuquerque, NM, Associate Pastor at Northlake Community Church in Bellingham, WA, Lead Pastor at Cross Point Church in E. Peoria, IL and most recently, Lead Pastor at Community Bible Church in High Point, NC. 
While serving at Community Bible he was active in many expansion projects and ministry development activities including: developing a satellite campus in Oak Ridge, purchasing the Women’s Club, CBC Hispana and Hope House (a drug and alcohol recovery center).  He also taught God’s Word to various groups, including the Community Wide Wednesday Morning Men’s Bible Study.  Robert was very health conscious.  He was an active member of Fitness One in Kernersville and competed in the Tough Mudder Run in North Carolina with a team from his church in 2012 and 2013.
On Sept. 7th, 1996, he married the former Elizabeth Cook who survives of the residence.  Also surviving are his children, John and Scarlett McKeehan both of the home; his mother of High Point and two sisters, Elvira Garr of Newton, NC and Brenda Dubovick of Phoenix, AZ.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Wesleyan Church at Providence Place.  Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Community Bible Church in High Point. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Community Bible Church, to benefit its Capital Campaign and partnership with Parkview Elementary School, at 4125 Johnson St. High Point, NC 27265.  Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point is assisting the family.  On-line condolences may be made through www.cumbyfuneral.com.
