ASHEBORO — Robert Lee “Bobby” Allred, 75, of Asheboro, died April 2, 2014.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Caleb Bernard and Zoey Kaye-Lynn Ambrose
HIGH POINT — Twin Baby Boy and Girl Caleb and Zoey Ambrose are both angels now in God’s Presence.
They were born to Shawndell and Brittany Steele Ambrose on March 27 and 28, 2014.
Surviving to cherish their memories are parents, Shawndell and Brittany of the home; maternal grandmother, Bonita Kaye Steele of Archdale, NC; paternal grandmother, Alma J. Ambrose of Greenville, MS; a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, NC. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 12:30 p.m. until 1 p.m.

Nancy Cooper Bundy
DENTON — Nancy Cooper Bundy, of Denton, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Hospice Hinkle House in Lexington, NC after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy was born on Dec. 6, 1946, to the late Julius and Sarah Ruth Jones Cooper of Conway, SC. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Cooper and Malcolm Cooper, and a sister Lillian Cooper Rabon.
Nancy is survived by three children; Sheila Fields and husband Raymond of Denton, Phillip Bundy of the home and Thomas Bundy and wife MaDonna of Archdale. She is also survived by one sister; Dorothy Singleton of Conway, SC and one brother Nollie Cooper and wife Karel of High Point.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at Sechrest Funeral Service, 120 Trindale Road, Archdale, NC on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, no memorial service will be held.

Ruby Delores Clinard Byerly
THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Ruby Delores Clinard Byerly, 77, a resident of Liberty Arms Ct., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Thomasville Medical Center.
She was born on June 19, 1936 in Guilford County, NC to James Kenneth Clinard and Carrie Atchison Clinard. She was a 1954 graduate of Fair Grove High School, where she was the head cheerleader. She was a homemaker and attended Park Place Baptist Church, while her health permitted. She loved her gardening and everyone’s furry families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randal Wayne Byerly on March 21, 2007; and a brother, Jimmy Clinard of Colfax.
Surviving are two daughters, Christy Batten and husband Donald of Thomasville and Cynthia Hoffman and husband Bill of Hillsborough, NC; son, Steven Byerly of Hillsborough, NC; grandchildren, Jenni Rhodes and husband Chris, Chipper Hoffman and wife Kara, and Katie Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Nancy Grace Rhodes and John Mason Rhodes; sisters-in-law, Minnie Faye Clinard of Colfax and Hilda Byerly of Thomasville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Pastor J.B. Whitfield officiating. HIGH POINT — Dorothy Ledwell Chestnut “Dot” of 1727 Stoneybrook Drive died on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her residence.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Greater First United Baptist Church, 1409 Deep River Rd.

SANFORD — James Vernon Hannah, 68, of Sanford, died after a long battle of cancer April 2, 2014, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
The family will receive friends Saturday at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home, 600 W. Main St., Sanford, from 2-4 p.m. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
GREENSBORO — Edward N. Hoskins, 85, died April 2, 2014.

Vernon Lee Misenheimer
BURLINGTON — Mr. Vernon Lee Misenheimer, 73, of Burlington, died with family by his side at the Hospice Home of Alamance County on Monday, March 31st, 2014, at 11:45 p.m. following a two year battle with bone cancer.
A native of Davidson County, he was the husband of the late Patty Misenheimer. Vernon was the son of William Lee Misenheimer and Mary Lou Carter Misenheimer, both deceased. He was a graduate of Denton High School and attended East Carolina University. He was retired from 44 years in textile chemical sales - most recently Apollo Chemical Corp. Vernon was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church where he served on the the church council and was President of the Lutheran Men & Mission for over 25 years.
Survivors include son, Lee Misenheimer and wife Stephanie of Brooklyn, NY; two daughters, Lori Miller and husband Andy of Clayton and Sarah Swaim and husband Jeromy of Burlington; one grandson, Otto Misenheimer of Brooklyn; two granddaughters, Harper and Phoebe Miller of Clayton; one sister, Phoebe Hedrick and husband Ralph of Lexington.
A memorial service will be conducted at Macedonia Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at 2 p.m. by Pastor Suzanne Shoffner with the family receiving friends at the church following the service. At other times they will be at the residence.

Billy Michael Patterson
HIGH POINT — Mr. Billy Michael Patterson, 64, resident of High Point, died March 31st, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Patterson was born July 3rd, 1949 in High Point, a son to the late George Ralph and Anna Bell Estes Patterson. He worked at Valspar and Akzo-Nobel as a color stylist for furniture coatings. He continued in this profession for a number of years all over the world.
On June 30th, 1990, he married the former Cynthia Staton who survives of the residence. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by son, Timothy Langley Elliott Jr; and a sister, Peggy Joyce.
Also surviving are three children, Billy Michael Patterson Jr. & wife Melissa of Atlanta, GA, David Caldwell Patterson of High Point and Brooks Staton Elliott & wife Danielle of Greensboro; a brother, Roy Patterson and wife Jane; two sisters, Jeanette Brackett and husband Bobby of Trinity; Betty McGuire & husband Ronnie of High Point and four grandchildren, Ethan Elliott, Langley Elliott, Miller Patterson and Harlow Elliott.
