Callie Josephine Heilig Kendrick
HIGH POINT — Callie Josephine Heilig Kendrick-84-passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Westchester Manor. Born in Guilford County to the late John and Lizzie Lamar Heilig. Callie lived and raised her family in Guilford County. She was a textile worker for W. J. Rives, Company. Callie is preceded in death by her husband John K. Kendrick and sister Aleen Manring.
Callie is survived by her two daughters, Sandra K. Wyatt of Marietta, Ga, Debbie L. Kendrick of Clarksville, Va. and a son John K. Kendrick Jr. of High Point, N.C. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Katherine F. Wyatt, Andrew G. Wyatt, Gretchen N. Wade and husband Marty, Matthew J. Kendrick and wife Candace, three great-grandchildren, Garrison Wade, Ryan Wade and Maysa Kendrick.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, 2 p.m. at Sechrest Funeral Chapel in High Point. Burial will follow at Floral Gardens Memorial Park in High Point. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, 12:30-2p.m. at Sechrest Funeral Services in High Point.
Donations in Callie’s memory may be made to any chapter of the American Red Cross.

ASHEBORO — Annie Dail “Ann” Davis Cagle, age 77, died Jan.19, 2013.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at First E & R United Church of Christ.

ASHEBORO — James Lloyd Bulla of 1127 Tory Lane, Asheboro, N.C. passed away quietly in his sleep at Baptist Hospital on Jan. 20, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Tonita Brabham Bulla, daughters Leanne Saunders and husband Jim of Asheboro, Carol Bulla-Smith and husband Brent of Charlotte, NC, foster daughter Roseanna Stanley Lasley and husband Joe of Asheboro, along with 5 grandchildren.
He was a Road Driver for McLean Trucking Company, Local 391, in Winston Salem, N.C. He retired in 1994 from Yellow Freight Systems, Local 71, in Charlotte, N.C.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro and other times at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

LEXINGTON — Rebecca Evans Marker of Southmont died Jan. 20, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, N.C. A second service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Christian Church in Carlisle, Ky.
LEXINGTON — Mrs. Keith Henry, 56, of Sunnyside Dr., died early Friday morning Jan. 18, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Service.
THOMASVILLE – Mr. Rudolph Melton, 80, died on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Hinkle Hospice House.

LEXINGTON — Judy Ann Owens, age 63 of Lexington died Sunday afternoon. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Frances Ryder Lindner
HIGH POINT — Mrs. Frances Ryder Lindner, 92, resident of 1415 D Chestnut Hill, High Point, passed away on Sunday morning, Jan. 20, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Lindner was born Feb. 28, 1920 in Waterville, N.Y., a daughter to the late John Ryder and Roseanna Egan Lindner. She had worked at Alan Ferguson Associates and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Her husband, Robert J. Lindner, preceded her in death in April 2001. Also preceding her was her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Wendy Lindner.
Surviving is her sister, Rose R. Warren and brother-in-law Almond Warren; step-son, Robert Lindner and wife Carol; step-son, Richard Lindner and wife Barbara; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph C. Zuschmidt O.S.F.S, Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. Bernard’s Parrish Cemetery in Waterville, N.Y. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, N.C. 27262. Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point is assisting the family. THOMASVILLE — Mr. Darryl Wayne Turner, 47, of High Point, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Thomasville Medical Center.
Darryl was born in High Point on Nov. 5, 1965, a son to C.D. Turner and Virginia Brooks. He was employed with Austin Restoration Service. He is survived by his father, C.D. Turner and wife, Daisy of Sophia; mother, Virginia Brooks of High Point; five children, Chasity Turner of Fayetteville, Casey Turner of Thomasville, Darryl Turner, Jr. of Randleman, Christopher Turner of Randleman and Brianna Turner of Randleman; one brother, David Turner, Jr. of Raleigh; two half-sisters, Charlotte Tuttle of Asheboro and Caroline Brown of Sophia and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24 in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at Cumby Family Funeral Home in Archdale.
