Robert L. Greeson
THOMASVILLE — Robert Lindley Greeson Sr. of Thomasville N.C., passed away at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013. He was born in Burlington, N.C., to Egbert and Edith Greeson on Aug. 30, 1925. He is survived by his loving family: Marian Greeson,  his wife of 63 years, and his four children: Joyce Shields (Stanley), Bob Greeson Jr., Sheron Bender (Jay), Martin Greeson (Heidi), and 12 grandchildren: Roger LaGuardia (Jaymi), Nick LaGuardia (Misty), Kelly LaGuardia Cox (Sean),  Bob Greeson III (Amber), Bryan Bender (Jeanne), Rebecca Bender,  Katja Greeson, Carlin Greeson, Mary Beth Orr, Isaac Orr, Gerri Wright and Beth Orman.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with pastor Michael E. Lamm officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Campbell University in his honor.

Robert Edward “Eddie” Ingram, Jr.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Robert Edward “Eddie” Ingram, Jr. 82, passed away on Nov. 15, 2013, in Los Angeles, Calif. He was born June 17, 1931, in Thomasville, N.C., to the late Robert Edward Ingram, Sr. and Bessie Zella (Hudson) Ingram. In 1949, he graduated from Church Street School and went on to serve two terms in the U.S. Army. After honorably serving his country in the military, he married the late Eileen Ingram and started a successful antique furniture business in Manhattan, N.Y. He later moved his family and business to Los Angeles Calif.
Surviving are sons Edward Ingram, III and Gerald Ingram, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; stepsons Johnny L. Dean of Norfolk, Va., and Howard Dean; stepdaughter Diane M. Lambert-Cody of Decatur Ga.; brother Gene A. Ingram of High Point, N.C.; sisters Dorothy Alexander of Suitland, Md., Bessie M. (Ingram) Langford of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Mary L. (Ingram) McFadden (Harold) of Thomasville, N.C. He had four grandchildren.
Funeral and memorial service will be held in Los Angeles, Calif.

THOMASVILLE — Robert “Pete” Lee Martin, 77, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Carolina Baptist Church, 422 Liberty Dive. Thomasville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Lee Bingham
BOGART, Ga. — Donald Lee Bingham, 84, husband of the late Ruby Drye Bingham, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013.
A native of Spencer, N.C., he was the son of the late Russell Harrison and Mary Efird Bingham. Mr. Bingham was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and Retired from the Norfolk Southern Railway (formerly Southern Railway) of the Locomotive Control Center in Atlanta.
Survivors include his daughter: Joan Bingham (Chris) Clark of Athens; son: John Daniel “Danny” (Carol Becker) Bingham of Fredericksburg, Va.; grandchildren: Kevin (Michelle) Clark, Paul (Amy) Clark, Megan Bingham, Alicia Bryson; great grandchildren: Abigail, Ethan, Mary Kate and Charlotte Clark.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Robert H. Bohler, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and staff of Home Instead Senior Care and the nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital and ARMC for their care, love and support in the recent months.

Linda Smith Davis
LEXINGTON — Linda Smith Davis, 58 of Lexington died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 in Wake Forest Medical Center after an illness of teo months.
A funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Johns officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Linda was born in Alamance County on May 27, 1955 to Joseph Ronald (Ron) Smith and Geraldine (Gerry) Snellings Smith.  She was a registered nurse and was formerly employed by Lexington Memorial Hospital and attended Coggins Memorial Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Smith..
Surviving in addition to her parents are uncles, John Snellings(Hattie) and Gary Walsingham (Mary) aunts Anna Snellings, Ethel Snellings and Alice Williams .

ARCHDALE — Mrs. Lottie Redding Davis, 90, of Archdale, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 at Graybrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Lottie was born Oct. 11, 1923 to the late Tom and Mada Andrews Redding.  She worked for many years at Adams Millis Hosiery and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed managing the Helping Hands Thrift Store. On Feb. 14, 1942, she married Harvie J. Davis, who preceded her in death in 1997. Lottie will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.  Her greatest passion in life was her grandchildren, and helping others, and throughout her years touched the lives of many.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lottie is predeceased by brothers, Clifford W. Redding (Ruth), Herman Redding (Hazel), Benton Redding (Evelyn), and Bascom Lee Redding; and sister, Lucille R. Doss (Allen).
Lottie is survived by daughter, Connie Crotts and husband Dean; granddaughters, Julie Billings (Terry) and Dana Crotts (Eric); great-grandchildren, Adisen and Annslee Billings and Connor and Layla Yalch; sister, Ellen Staley (Darrell); sister-in-law, Carole Redding; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Lottie’s life will be held Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Dave Mercadante and Pastor Faye Herbin officiating.  Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, and other times at the home of Connie Crotts at 3634 Old Glenola Road, Archdale.

Keith Carpenter
HIGH POINT — Keith Edward Carpenter, age 70, a resident of High Point passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013.
He was born June 12, 1943 in Gastonia, N.C. to Rachel Bridges Carpenter and the late Reese Carpenter. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Germany. He received his Undergraduate Degree in Accounting from Belmont Abbey College in 1969. Keith worked for the Internal Revenue Service and retired in 1996, after 26 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sharyn Witcher Carpenter, his children; Eric Carpenter of High Point and Jill Palmer and her husband David of Argyle, Texas, his mother of Gastonia. Also surviving are his brother; Ned Carpenter and his wife Juta of York, S.C. his grandchildren; Abigail and Kate Carpenter, Will, Reid and Adair Palmer.
A service to celebrate Keith’s life will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point, with Reverend Fran Moran officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. HIGH POINT — Mrs. Lois Nichols Cannaday, age 77, a resident of High Point, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013. Arrangements are pending and will be announced later by Cumby Family Funeral Service of High Point.
