BOGART, Ga. — Donald Lee Bingham, 84, died Nov. 21, 2013.

HIGH POINT — Keith Edward Carpenter, 70, of High Point died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. Arrangements are pending at Cumby Family Funeral Service of High Point.
THOMASVILLE — Robert Lindley Greeson Sr. of Thomasville died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013. J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
THOMASVILLE — Lillie Mae Haney, 74, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013. Triad Cremation Society & Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
LEXINGTON — Paul Cletus Hulin, 65, of Paul Workman Road, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Union Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville.
LEXINGTON — Grace “Libby” Bailey Sink, 80, of Sink Road died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church Cemetery.
LEXINGTON —Annie Bell Smith Swicegood, 88, of Alston Brook Nursing Center, formerly of Helmstetler Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Christian Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Sarah Wyre Woodell
Sarah Wyre Woodell, 90, passed away at North Point Assisted Living on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013.
Born to Conard and Julia (Hayworth) Wyre, Sarah lived in the High Point/Archdale area all of her life.
In 1944, she was married to Bruce Woodell, who predeceased her in 1988. She and Bruce enjoyed bowling and were members of a number of bowling teams through the years. Other interests of Sarah’s included shopping, flowers, playing games, music and spending time at Myrtle Beach. Sarah was a huge Atlanta Braves fan and loved watching the games on TV. She was a homemaker most of her adult life and enjoyed spending time with her family, neighbors and friends. She was a member of New Covenant Lutheran Church in Archdale.
Survivors include son, Wayne Woodell and wife Dottie of Trinity; daughter, Kay Manley and husband Michael of Trinity; and sisters, Bessie Kidd, Frances Ruth and Juanita Hubbard (Bill), all of High Point. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Joseph Ramos (Tiffani) of Thomasville, Mary Olynick (David) of California and Sherry Harman (David) of Florida. Other survivors include seven great-grandchildren, four nephews, and five nieces.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale.
The family wishes to express deepest gratitude to the staff at North Pointe Assisted Living in Archdale for their kind, patient, and compassionate care given to Mom the past year. The love expressed by those attending Mom’s needs and by her fellow residents the past week will never be forgotten. Many thanks also go to Hospice of the Piedmont for their expert and thoughtful care and handling of Mom’s illness the past few months, always keeping her welfare and comfort as their main priority.
A special thanks also to Dr. Grace Kim and her staff for their kindness, caring, compassion and advice during a most difficult time for the family.
