Corine R. Lamb
THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Corine Richardson Lamb, 81, a resident of Grimes Park Drive, died Saturday morning, July 6, 2013, at her residence. She was born January 16, 1932, in Conway, S.C., a daughter of Harley Wesley Richardson and Lucy Ann Heral Richardson. Mrs. Lamb was a retired employee with the former Adam-Millis, Inc, now Sara Lee, Inc. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of the Living God in Lexington.
She was married to Nelson James Lamb, who died December 27, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lucy Lee Young and sons, William Terry Faircloth and Jerry Franklin Faircloth.
Surviving are two daughters, Nellie Faye Hill and husband Don of Lexington and Cora Bernice Lang and husband Eugene of Thomasville; three sons, Harley Lewis Faircloth and wife Marie of Denton, Roland V. Faircloth of Thomasville and Ralph Lynn Faircloth and wife Kathy of High Point; a sister, Rosa Lee Parrish of Thomasville; Eight Grandchildren, Sixteen Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Wayne Lang officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and other times at the home.
The family request any memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, N.C. 27292.

Jean Etta Boulding 
WINSTON-SALEM — Jean Etta Boulding passed away at her home on July 4, 2013. Jean was born December 16, 1959, in North Carolina to Noel Lem Boulding and Myrtice Rhodes Boulding. Her parents preceded her in death. Jean is survived by her husband, David Freeman. Also surviving are sisters Anne Campbell and Betty Wood (Al), many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Jean’s greatest loves were her family and friends and she enjoyed cooking for and entertaining them. She also loved gardening and her home was filled with the beautiful flowers she grew.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013, at Sechrest Funeral Home on Lexington Avenue in High Point, North Carolina. Visitation with family and friends will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013,  from 6 to 8 p.m. also at Sechrest Funeral Home.

Eva Woods
HIGH POINT — Eva Nahoum Woods, age 75, of High Point, died Friday, July 5, 2013. She was born July 23, 1937 to the late Albert and Regina Cohn Nahoum.
Eva was an amazing mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters Rachel Roland and husband Luke, Renee Tuggle and husband Henry both of High Point, NC; one son Melvin Woods, Jr. of High Point, NC; four grandchildren Henry Tuggle, Jr., Crystal Kinley, Luke Roland IV and wife Jessica, Ashley Jose and husband Orlando, six great grandchildren Samantha Tuggle, Marissa Tuggle, Jordan Kinley, Myles Roland, Mia Roland and Alex Jose. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Woods, Sr in 2004, three brothers and three sisters.
A Funeral Service will be offered at 2 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013 from the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park.

Frances Gardner
BURLINGTON — Frances Mae Hinkle Gardner, 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell after a brief illness.
Frances was the daughter of the late Sollie Franklin Hinkle and Jessie Mae Black. She was born March 17, 1932, in Thomasville, NC. She attended grades 1-12 at Pilot High School in Thomasville where she graduated Valedictorian of her class in 1950. The fall of that year, she attended Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone, NC and later graduated with a Bachelors degree in Education. She received her Masters degree in Education from UNC-Greensboro. Frances taught in the Burlington City School System and Greensboro City School System for 36 years before retiring. She taught 4th grade and the Math Lab Program. She was devoted to her career and the children she taught.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Paul (Bob) Gardner of Thomasville and a brother Frank Hinkle of Thomasville. She is survived by her daughter Susan Gail Gardner Davis, Burlington; sister Joan Carol Hinkle Robertson; sister-in-law Peggy Hinkle, Thomasville; aunt Gladys Shoaf, Thomasville; cousin Craig Shoaf, Creswell and numerous nephews and nieces. 
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, 2205 S. Church St., Burlington, NC on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. by Rev. Ellen McCubbin and Rev. Dr. Charles Lee “Chuck” Hutchens. Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum, 4039 S. Church St., Burlington, NC.

Joe Hamilton
DENTON — Joseph P. (Joe)Hamilton III, age 64, of Wyonna Drive in Denton, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence on Wyonna Drive.

Michael J. Heer
HIGH POINT — Michael J. Heer, 70, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at the High Point Regional Hospital.
Mike was born in Washington, D.C. June 25, 1943, a son of the late Leo J. Heer and Frances Murphy Heer. He was an Army veteran and a Boy Scout Leader with Troop # 20 for many years.  Mike had a previous career in furniture sales and was currently employed as a network engineer with Computer Service and Supply. He was a Friend of Bill’s and a member of High Point Friends Meeting. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cassie Heer and his son, Glen Heer.
Surviving are his wife, Candace Yount Heer; three sons, Patrick Ayers, John Ayers and wife Tiffany, and Michael Ayers and wife Jennifer; brother, Dan Heer, two sisters, RoseMary Shaw and Kathleen Heer; and three grandchildren.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the High Point Friends Meeting by Pastor Kelly Kellum. The family will receive friends at the church following the service until 3:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Fellowship Hall or High Point Friends Meeting.
