LEXINGTON — Darrell Lane Beck, 67, formerly of Brown Street, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House following two years of declining health.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

DENTON — Guy Buster Hughes, age 89, formerly of Garner Road, Denton and Avery County, NC died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington. The family will be at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Briggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
