Frederick L. Conrad
LEXINGTON — Frederick Lee “Fred” Conrad, 84, died Feb. 1, 2013. Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.
THOMASVILLE — Nettie Ethel Deaton, 82 passed away on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Hospice Home at High Point.
Born on Jan. 24, 1931 in Davidson County to Bascom Kennedy and Frankie Fraylick Kennedy.
Nettie is preceded in death by her parents and husband Tim Deaton, daughter Ann Burleson, son Randy Deaton, and sister Betty Johnson.
Nettie loved to laugh with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, reading, trips to the beach and working outside in her yard.
Survived by her sons; Maynard Deaton of Thomasville, Charles Deaton and his wife Tammie of Greensboro, brothers Frank Kennedy and Bruce Kennedy. Grandchildren: Chad Burleson and his wife Rachel, DeAnne Kennedy and her husband Brian, and Sky Deaton. Great Grandchildren: Ellias. Eve, Adin, Andy, Elina Burleson, and Cade Kennedy.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday Feb. 5, 2013 at Thomasville Funeral Home. Followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend De Hillyer officiating. Interment will be at Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery in Thomasville.

Josephine Boles Everhart
HIGH POINT — Mrs. Josephine Boles Everhart, age 83, passed away Jan. 30, 2013 in Westchester Manor Nursing Center.
Mrs. Everhart was born in Randolph County on Nov. 6, 1929 to Reverend Joseph Howard and Bealie Tuttle Boles. She had been a lifelong resident of the Archdale area and was employed with Braxton Culler Furniture in the sewing department. Mrs. Everhart was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, the church choir, and the Couples for Christ Group. On Dec. 19, 1970 she married Mr. Paul Joseph Everhart who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2009. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Donald Everhart, Jr.; two brothers, Arnold Lee and Howard Grady Boles, and a daughter, Pat Denny.
Surviving are her son, Don Everhart and wife Linda of High Point, her son in law, Austin Denny of Kernersville, and two sisters; Mrs. Farris (Mary) Montgomery of High Point and Ms. Katherine Beck of Florida. There are four grandchildren; Leigh Ann Venable and husband Terry, Jeff Denny and wife Misty, Gary, and Darren Denny, and fourteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Everhart will be conducted Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point with the Reverend Terry Venable officiating. Interment will follow the service in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

HIGH POINT — Ms. Cecile S. Johnson, 68, of 2128 Chester Ridge Road, died Jan. 30, 2013 at High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Miles Baptist Church in Mebane.
JAMESTOWN — Jon Christopher “Chris” Lynch, 54, of Jamestown, NC, died unexpectedly Jan. 29, 2013.
Chris is survived by a close family who loved him very much. Survivors include his parents, Ben and Barbara Lynch, sister Karen Lynch Walls and husband Tommy , all of Jamestown, NC; sister Sandra Lynch McGee of Wilmington, NC; sister Terri Lynch and husband Phil Purcell of Charlotte, NC; brother Alan Lynch and wife Sarah Friesema of Austin, TX.
Chris also is survived by his aunt Sheila Bowman of Greensboro, uncle Bob Qualls of Albuquerque, NM; nephews Devin McGee and Justin Walls, nieces Jill McGee and Amanda Walls; and grandnephews Ethan and Nathan McGee along with many cousins and special friends.
A Service of Remembrance will be announced at a later date.
Thomas Richard Maute
POMPANO BEACH, FLA. — Mr. Thomas Richard Maute, 84, of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of High Point, NC, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Vitas Hospice Home. Thomas was born Sept. 5, 1928 in New York City, NY, a son of the late John Maute and Ramy Jackson Maute. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Maute, a daughter, Linda Button, and a brother, Raymond Maute. Thomas was of the Baptist faith. On Oct. 6, 1948 he married the love of his life, the former Mary Rebecca Anderson. He was a US Marine veteran. Professionally, he was a retired plumber. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Maute of the home, and two grandchildren, Robert Button and Joann Joyner. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 at Guilford Memorial Park, with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating. Mark T. Webster
HIGH POINT — Mark T. Webster, 54 of High Point, NC passed away on Jan. 29, 2013, after a long illness.
At his request, there will be a private service. Arrangements are being handled by Winston Salem Cremation Services.
Mark was born in High Point on June 28, 1958 to the late Roy and Betty Webster. He graduated from T.W. Andrews High School.
Mark is survived by his wife, Veronica. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to: The National Kidney Foundation, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The American Heart Association or Hospice of the Piedmont.
