Blance Alia Aleman
HIGH POINT — Mrs. Blanca Elia Aleman, 76, a resident of 1505 Hickory Ct., died May 10, 2014 at her resident.
A native of San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, she was born Oct. 6, 1937, a daughter to the late Emilino and Julia Rodriguez Vera. She was married to Jose M. Aleman, who preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1987.
Blanca is survived by four children, Jose M. Aleman of Carteret, NJ; Lourdes C. Hernandez and husband Angel of High Point; Ramon J. Aleman and wife Carmen of Woodbridge, NJ, and David Aleman of High Point. She is also survived by two brothers, Emilio Vera of Carteret, NJ; Ramon I. Vera of Perth Amboy, NJ, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday May 12, 2014, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point. There will be a graveside service in the St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ at 11 a.m. in Woodbridge, NJ, on Thursday May 15, 2014.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Inglesia El Calvario 2025 South College Drive 8G High Point, NC 27260.

THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Nadejda Bibicoff Alimpich, 89, a resident of Hedrick Drive, died Sunday morning, May 11, 2014 ,in the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
She was born July 10, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Hilarion Bibicoff and Vera Saveloff Bibicoff. Mrs. Alimpich was a Homemaker. She was married to George Alimpich, who died June 15, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Hilarion Bibicoff in 2001.
Surviving are daughters, Anna Johnson and husband Chris of Marietta, GA, Claudia Alimpich and husband John Bonvallet of Boulder, CO and Alexandria Osborne and husband Keith of Archdale, NC; a son, Michael Alimpich and wife Cindy of Aiken, SC; five grandchildren, William Johnson, Marla Johnson Velez, Katherine Alimpich, Julie Alimpich, Michelle Alimpich Young; two step-grandchildren, Christy Crumpler and Amy Osborne; and Seven Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. in J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Father Christopher Foley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 PM followed by a memorial prayer service in the chapel.
Following the local services, Mrs. Alimpich will be taken to the Uht Funeral Home in Westland, MI, where services and interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery on Wayne, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials may be directed to Hinkle Hospice Home, 201 Hospice Way, Lexington, N.C. 27292.

HIGH POINT — On Friday, May 9, Courtney Jean Freedle, 36, stopped her pain.
Please remember the fantastic person she was - the one you went to when you felt bad - she always knew the right thing to say - the reason you should be happy with your life. She was a great daughter, sister and aunt.
Surviving are her proud mother, Jean Freedle; sisters, Chris Amos and Jennifer White; niece, Sarah Faith Amos; nephews, Matthew Amos, Trevor and Brooks White; and the love of her life, Dusty Wiles.

Ruby Turner Lanier
HIGH POINT — Ruby Turner Lanier, 89, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2014 at Westchester Manor in High Point.
She was born in Anson County, North Carolina. Ruby worked in the shipping dept. for Adams-Millis Company. She was a member of the English Road Baptist Church. Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Carl B. Gaddy, Vernon Lanier, three sisters and two brothers.
Ruby is survived by her daughter Dean Peacock of High Point, a son James T. Gaddy and wife Faye of Thomasville, four grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to Westchester Manor and Hospice of the Piedmont for their loving care of mother.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday May 13, 2014, 2 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph St. Thomasville. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.

HIGH POINT — Mr. Hosey Lindsey, 100, departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 8, 2014.
He was born Aug. 25, 1913, in Lilesville, NC to the late Ada and Julius Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolina Lindsey.
Hosey came to High Point in 1958 and begin working for Jack Flynn at The Ice and Coal Plant. He was a faithful member at First Emmanuel Baptist Church. He sang on the Senior Choir #1 for many years until his health declined.
Hosey was dedicated to Becky’s and Mary’s Soul Food Restaurant. They knew him as “Pop”. His faithfulness and very kind words of wisdom was recognized by many people that came in and out the restaurant.
He never had any children of his own but a god daughter, Evangelist Jennie Ree Lindsey and his nieces.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters-in-law, Sallie Wall and Elma Thompson; one brother- in- law, John Harp; nieces and nephews, Daisy Bell Butler, Mattie (Willie) Cooper, Louise Horne, Ann McBride, Alexander McBride, Mark McBride, Geneva McBride, Ann Jacobs, Charlene McBride and Curly Bee Moore; twenty-two great nieces and nephews; fifty great-great nieces and nephews.
Thanks to Mr. Keith Washington for overseeing Mr. Lindsey in his time of need. A special thank you is extended to Willie and Mattie Cooper.
All the praise and glory goes to God for keeping him 100 years and 8 months more than the promise.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. at First Emmanuel Baptist Church, 833 Leonard Ave. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, NC. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1 p.m.
