Cathy was born August 3, 1951 in High Point, North Carolina to Joseph William Brewer and Nancy Greer Brewer.  She was the second oldest of four children and a true blessing to her family.  As Cathy grew in age and experience, she became a truly driven individual.  She started her adult life by finding her eternal companion and starting their own family.  Determined to lead a righteous and loving family, Cathy instilled religious principles in her home to help ensure she could have her family with her through the eternities.  Following giving birth to four wonderful children, Cathy turned her attention to her professional career and continuing her education.  Having a natural drive for success, Cathy completed her education by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Master of Education, a Master of Business Administration, and finally her Doctrine of Philosophy, Business Management.
As Cathy’s children grew to have children of their own, she became “Dr. Mom” and a pillar of strength, love, and inspiration for her family.  Cathy’s love for family naturally led into a driven passion for genealogy which was humbly fueled by her religious values and her personal love for her Savior.  The amount of time, research, and organization of her family history will be a treasured gift for her surviving family and a great reference tool for her Celestial family.
Cathy was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she diligently served the Savior and her fellow man in a variety of callings within the Primary, Young Women’s, Youth Seminary, Relief Society, and most recently Family History organizations of her church.  Cathy had a true love of music and a talent which she loved to share with her church family and used to bring love and peace in her own home.
