Misty Lea Huffman Price
LEXINGTON — Misty Lea Huffman Price, 28, of Boss Hog Avenue, Lexington, died August 1, 2014, due to injuries from a car accident. She was born in Guilford County December 18, 1985 to Allen Dean Huffman and Debra Lynn Price. She was a seamstress with Reliable Bedding and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her mother, Debra Simmons of Trinity; her father, Allen Dean Huffman of Lansing, N.C.; three daughters, Kaitlyn Price, Samantha Price, and Hailey Price, all of the home; one son, Colton Clay of the home; fiancé, Justin Clay of the home; four sisters, Julie Johnson and husband Larry of Winston-Salem, Christie Moncus of Thomasville, Lisa Jester and husband Travis of Trinity, and Amanda Simmons of Trinity; one brother, Allen Huffman, Jr. and fiancée Jessica King of Trinity; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Julia Price of Kernersville and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Danny McMahan officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cameron Gage Hill
THOMASVILLE — Cameron Gage Hill, 7, a resident of Kendall Mill Road, died August 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born July 14, 2007 in Davidson County, a son of Jason Derrick Hill and Heather Nichole Watford.
Cameron was an honorary member of the Fair Grove Fire Department. He loved fishing with his father, swimming with his mother and playing with his baby sister.
Surviving are his parents, Jason Derrick Hill and Heather Nichole Watford; a sister, Baileigh Marie Hill of the home; brothers, Dylan Chance Hill of Tennessee and Daniel James Trotter of Wallburg; maternal grandparents, Amanda Lynn Lovelace of High Point and Jesse Odell Watford, III of Thomasville; paternal grandmother, Alice Marie Hill of the home; special cousin, Christeen Black and friend Bob Manor of Thomasville; special friends, Dr. Dan Entwistle and Jake Connor; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel with Mr. James Laine officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour.

Norman Gray Jones
KERNERSVILLE — Norman Gray Jones, 85, died August 2, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Norman was born on January 3, 1929 in Forsyth County to Linnie Columbus and Pearl Cox Jones. Norman attended Gospel Light Baptist Church for many years and later Kerwin Baptist Church, faithfully serving in both Bus Ministries for many years. His dedication to these ministries was a great testament to his care for others.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Durham Jones; his son, Douglas Norman Jones; and one brother, Charles Ray Jones.
Surviving are two sons, Darron Gray Jones and Derek Alan Jones (Debbie); nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Phillip “Tink” Jones (Jane) of Virginia Beach; two step-sons, James Whitley (Roxie) and Jerry Whitley both of High Point.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Kerwin Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Hawtree and Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Entombment will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at the church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.

Betty Pegram Byrd
THOMASVILLE — Betty Pegram Byrd, 75, died August 1, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in High Point, February 7, 1939, a daughter of Thomas and Mae Slate Pegram. She was a teacher’s aide in the Guilford County School system for many years. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a devoted lifetime member of Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Gerald Byrd; a daughter, Karen Crisp and her husband Jason; two sons, Kenneth Byrd and Douglas Byrd and his wife Myra; four grandchildren, Paige Byrd, Christy Byrd, Casey Crisp and Kelly Crisp; a sister, Louise Hiatt and her husband Richard; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Floral Garden Park Cemetery by the Rev. Jack Rose. The family will receive friends at Davis Funerals and Cremations Monday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.
