Arrest made in Westchester robbery

Police have arrested a man who they believe is involved in the July 27 home invasion that happened in the 2600 block of Westchester Drive that left one man injured.
Lynn Christopher Baskins, 28, of High Point, was arrested and charged Thursday with robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and assault with a deadly weapon.
Baskins was jailed on a $200,000 secured bond. He has a Sept. 13 court date.
On July 27, four people came through the back door of the home and held seven people that were in the home, including three children, at gunpoint, according to police.
The robbers were able to get away with $300, shot a resident in the buttocks and pepper-sprayed him before leaving.
