McCrory to attend dedication in city tomorrow
Gov. Pat McCrory is scheduled to join local dignitaries for the opening of the new High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau Regional Visitors Center at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The relocated and upgraded Visitors Center is in the High Point Chamber of Commerce building at N. Main Street and State Avenue. The CVB relocated from its longtime home downtown.
“Tourism visitors spend more than $55 million per day in North Carolina, which adds more than $4 million per day to state and local tax revenues. This facility will showcase all that our great state has to offer in a new, cutting-edge format,” McCrory said in a statement.
