Teacher charged in case of alleged sexual activity involving student

LEXINGTON — A High Point woman who is a teacher at Lexington Senior High School has been charged with sexual activity with a student, according to Lexington police.
Police say that Lexington City Schools administration reported to Lexington Police on Monday afternoon an alleged incident of sexual activity with a student.
After investigation, Brittany Phillips, 25, of High Point, was arrested and held in the Davidson County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
The case is still under investigation.
