Drug store robbed, suspect sought

Guilford County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a suspect who robbed a drug store in Pleasant Garden this morning.

The Pleasant Garden Pharmacy at 4822 Pleasant Garden Road was robbed at approximately 9:15 a.m., Sheriff BJ Barnes said. 
The suspect entered the store wearing a black mask covering his face, displayed a handgun and demanded medications, according to investigators. The robber fled the scene in a dark, four-door car dating from the mid-1990s. 
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 165-180 pounds. The man had dark hair and was wearing a black shirt, black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, eyeglasses and khaki pants.
No injuries were reported during the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000 or the Sheriff’s Office at 641-3355.
