Arrest made in weekend robbery

Police arrested two teens in the beating and robbery of a store clerk.
Devontea Markeese Williams, 17, of 2003 N. Rotary Drive, and Elgin Nautica Black, 17, of Greensboro, have been arrested and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault inflicting serious injury, according to High Point police.
According to the police report, the 54-year-old clerk was working at the Red Dot Grocery convenience store on Ennis Street Saturday.  Police said the men entered the store wearing masks and attacked her.
The teenagers stole $500 worth of cigarettes, cash and $500 worth of merchandise including scratch-off lottery tickets.
Williams and Black were placed in the Guilford County Jail with a $250,000 bond.
The case is still under investigation.
