Did Guilford County students meet Superintendent Mo Green’s  challenge to read three million books?
What’s the plan for next year?
Green and others will answer those questions Thursday during the district’s State of Our Schools event. The program starts at 6 p.m. in Carolina Theatre, 310 S. Greene St., Greensboro.
Green also will lay out the roadmap for the district’s next four years in his Strategic Plan 2016. Students, as well as community groups and members of the educational, business and nonprofit community will join the superintendent in the program.
The program also will feature more details about the plan to provide all students with personalized-learning opportunities through digital technology and targeted classes.
